Every year, the Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level Examination, popularly known as SSC CGL, to recruit eligible candidates for various posts in the departments and ministries of the Indian Government. For this year too, the commission has released the SSC CGL 2022 Notification on 17 September 2022 which was earlier slated to be released on 10 September 2022. Along with the notification PDF, the apply online link is activated from 17 September to 08 October 2022. The SSC CGL 2022 Exam Date is December 2022, tentatively. For the SSC CGL 2021-2022, the commission has already conducted the Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 exams. The Tier 1 exam was conducted from 11 to 21 April 2022, whereas SSC CGL exam date 2022 for Tier 2 were 8th & 10th August 2022 and Tier 3 date was 21 August 2022. The admit card for SSC CGL Tier 2 exam is out. The conducting authority has started releasing region-wise SSC CGL 2022 admit card for Tier 2 exam, scheduled to be held on 8 & 10th August 2022 across the nation. The Staff Selection Commission has activated the direct link to check SSC CGL Tier 1 Marks on its website on 12 July 2022. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their marks and download scorecard even though they haven’t qualified the exam. The link to check SSC CGL marks 2022 is provided below which will remain active till 1 August 2022.
SSC CGL 2022 result is declared on 04 July 2022. Candidates who had appeared for the Tier 1 exam which were held from 11 April to 21 April 2022 will be able to check their result and scorecard from the direct link given below. As per the SSC CGL Result PDF released by the commission, a total of 10971 candidates have been shortlisted for the tier 2 exam.

Prior to this, the Commission had released the provisional answer key from 02 May to 07 May 2022 for students to check their question papers, answers marked by them, and the correct answer for each question. - 17 September 2022: The SSC CGL 2022 Notification PDF is released along with the tentative exam dates and apply online link.
- 16 September 2022: The result and cut off marks for SSC CGL Tier 3 for ESM category is released.
- 30 August 2022: The revised Tier 2 answer key has been released. Earlier, the commission deactivated the answer key PDF link due to a technical glitch. The link to download SSC CGL 2022 answer key will be active till 02 September 2022.
- 24 August 2022: The commission released the answer key for SSC CGL 2022. Those who appeared for the Tier 2 exam can download their response sheet via the link provided below.
- 16 August 2022: The admit card for Tier 3 exam is released for the qualified candidates. The Tier 3 exam is scheduled to be held on 21 August 2022.

SSC CGL stands for “Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level”, the most popular government job exam in India. Every year around 30-40 lakhs eligible candidates fill the application form and around 15-20 lakh aspirants appear in the CGL exam. The final shortlisted and selected candidates get the opportunity to work in the ministry and various government departments in India.
SSC CGL brings the best opportunity every year for the aspirants to get a chance to work in different job profiles in Indian Government organizations. This year, the officials have introduced some major changes in the SSC CGL 2022 exam. From now onwards, candidates will be shortlisted category-wise on the basis of the marks scored in the Tier 1 exam in order to appear in Tier 2 and Tier 3 exams.
The apply online link for SSC CGL 2022 is made available on the official website of SSC i.e ssc.nic.in. Many aspirants wait eagerly for the apply online process to start and to fill out the application form to get one step closer to their desired government job. The commission opened the SSC CGL 2022 apply online window from 17 September to 13 October 2022. However, the last date to pay the application fee is 14 October 2022, and candidates can make changes in their online form from 19 October to 20 October 2022. - To fill out the SSC CGL application form, register on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission through a valid email ID.
- Login using the registration ID and password you received on your email ID, which you entered while registering.
- Upload a scanned photograph, signature & other relevant documents.
- Pay the SSC CGL 2022 application fee. However, candidates must note that the payment should be done through the online process (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/Wallets).
- Click the submit button for application form submission
- Now take the printout of the application form.
In order to successfully submit the application form, candidates need to pay a minimal SSC CGL application fee based on their category. The fee to submit the form for male candidates for the General and OBC category is ₹100/-, while for female candidates, SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-servicemen are exempted from the fee payment.
SSC CGL 2022 eligibility includes various parameters that aspirants need to satisfy in order to see their name in the final selection list like educational qualification, age limit, physical standards, etc. Check out the following eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled by the candidates:
As per the official SSC CGL Notification 2022, candidates should have a graduate degree on or before 01.01.2022. Candidates, who are in the final year of graduation can also apply with their provisional degrees. However, the SSC CGL qualification varies from post to post.
SSC CGL Age Limit: SSC has increased the age limit for SSC CGL 2022 recruitment, though the age varies from post to post. The minimum age limit defined is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years. This age limit criteria varies from post to post and for different categories of people which is given in detail in the next section. Candidates can also check the age relaxations available for different categories of people.
Nationality: A candidate must be a resident of Indian territory with valid ID proof, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who moved to India before 1962 with an intention to settle down permanently in India, or a person of Indian origin who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with intention of settling down permanently in India.
