SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) recruits graduates for Group B and Group C posts such as Inspector, Assistant, Auditor and Assistant Section Officer across government departments. Eligibility is a bachelor's degree.

THE PAPER

Sixty minutes that decide the year

Tier 1 is 100 questions, 200 marks, one hour, and a half-mark penalty that punishes guessing dressed up as confidence. Four sections sit inside that hour. If quant eats 25 minutes, English does not get a fair chance. We train the clock as seriously as the syllabus.

Tier 2 is where graduates who "cleared prelims somehow" suddenly feel the ground move. Maths gets deeper, English gets longer, and computer knowledge plus the typing module are no longer optional stories you will "see later". Our CGL batch is built for both tiers from the first month, not as a second course you buy after the first result.

• Quantitative aptitude from arithmetic through the Tier 2 level, with speed only after the method is stable.

The second attempt needs a different honesty

A repeater already knows the chapter names. That is the trap. Familiarity feels like preparation. We put a sectional test in the first week so the score, not the memory, tells us where the year actually went.

Parents often ask us for a guarantee. We will not sell one. What we will do is sit with the attempt, name the leak, and give a week that is measurable. Selections on our wall were not louder students. They were students who stopped hiding from the mock.
